my "not - so - ultimate" ultimate guide to: watercolor art

 dear readers,

recently, i had to do an assignment for my communications class informing people about a certain subject, and my subject of choice was watercolor art !! 

i’ve always wanted to learn how to watercolor and create art so i took this assignment as my opening to teach myself something new while also teaching others, and i thought to myself, ‘why does my hard research have to go unnoticed after the assignment has passed’, so i’ve decided to share it to my blog incase anyone out there was also interested in learning about the history, & techniques of watercolor art culture around the world. so here are all the things i learned during my research.

but before we begin i want all of you to close your eyes and imagine colors softly bleeding  together as water guides the paint across the page. that is the magic of watercolor.

all about me !!!

 hi hi hi !!

i saw some girl on tiktok post about her blog (@ sugarplumblondie) and it really inspired me to start one of my own, so here i am !! i'm honestly new to all this, i usually just write about what i'm feeling in my notes app or post about it on my private instagram account, but i've decided to share my thoughts with anyone willing to read to blog. so if you're here, i hope you stay a while and enjoy the thoughts of a nineteen year old.

my name is aryam (weird i know right? my mom just took my sisters name and spelled it backwards so it's kinda unique!), my favorite color is pink, i love glitter, i have a dog named princess who is the love of my life, my favorite food is chicken alfredo pasta, i need a matcha or coffee daily or else the beast awakens, i am addicted to building legos, i'm 19 years old & i'm going to school to become an elementary school teacher #jessicadaycore #abbottelementary #coolgirlsteach ☆ 

i'm a saggitarius sun, scorpio moon, & cancer rising, i don't really understand what those mean... so if any of you are into astrology please let me know !!

my favorite movie genres are romcoms, fantasy, dystopia. i love love loveeeee the hunger games, divergent, the maze runner, harry potter, 27 dresses, voicemails for isabelle, miss congeniality, now you see me, wild child, the bling ring. i'm going to stop there because i can list movies for hourssss. (i'm so excited for Sunrise on the Reaping to come out in november but i know i'll have to be dragged out of that movie theatre) 

i love all types of music, and i'm not the type of people who say that and then only listen to one genre. my liked songs playlist on spotify has a mix of indie pop, country, rap, country, spanish pop, heavy metal, midwest emo, indie, hip-hop and so much more. my favorite artist are Audrey Hobert, Florence + The Machine, The Crane Wives, Malcolm Todd, Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, Jeff Buckley, P!ATD, Daisy Jones & The Six (i wish they were real </3)

i enjoy photography, i love documenting everything and capturing every moment. i also like baking, although i don't really bake often just for certain occasions at the moment but i hope to start baking more frequently.
